Corsham Court

Corsham Court is one of England's finest stately homes. It was a Royal Manor in the days of the Saxon Kings and the present building is based on an Elizabethan manor dating from 1582. Magnificent Georgian state rooms were added in 1760. It houses one of the oldest and most distinguished collections of Old Masters and furniture in the country, with 'Capability' Brown gardens and arboretum, and architecture by John Nash and Thomas Bellamy. Open throughout the year by appointment to groups of 15 or more persons.
