Natural beauty is in abundance at Exbury Gardens, a 200-acre woodland garden on the east bank of the Beaulieu River. Created by Lionel de Rothschild in the 1920s, the Gardens are a stunning vision of his inspiration. The spring displays of rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias and magnolias are world famous. The daffodil meadow, rock garden, rose garden, herbaceous borders, ponds and cascades ensure year round interest. And why not let our new steam train take the strain on a 1 ¼ mile journey over a bridge, through a tunnel across a pond in the Summer Lane Garden planted with bulbs, herbaceous perennials and grasses? Then travel along the top of the rock garden & across a viaduct into the American Garden. Fun for all the family and a day out at Exbury that the weather cannot spoil. Dogs welcome.
