Gardens of the Rose

The Royal National Rose Society's gardens provide a wonderful display of the best and most important rose collections in the world. Some 30,000 roses in over 1,800 different varieties planted with companions which harmonise with the roses. The Queen Mother Rose Garden contains a fascinating collection of the old garden roses which she loves. The RNRS International Rose Trials includes new varieties from all over the world and visitors are invited to state their preference. The Garden is being enlarged over the next few years to some 60 acres.
