Helmingham Hall Gardens

Listed Grade I by English Heritage, the gardens consist of a nineteenth century garden leading to a walled Elizabethan kitchen garden, surrounded by a Saxon moat. Within the walls are meticulously maintained herbaceous borders, and old-fashioned roses surround beds of vegetables separated by tunnels of sweet peas, runner beans and gourds, and a new shrub border.
