Shipton Hall

Shipton Hall was built around 1587 and has been described as 'an exquisite specimen of Elizabethan architecture'. There are Georgian additions and fine Rococo plasterwork. Shipton is a family home and stands in its own grounds together with a medieval dovecote and parish Church of St James, dating from Saxon times.
