Yalding Organic Gardens

Set against a traditional Kentish backdrop of hop gardens and oast houses. Yalding Organic Gardens provides visitors with the unique opportunity to experience gardening through the ages. The fourteen themed display gardens, all of which are totally organic, will transport visitors from Medieval times through to the present day. The gardens are designed, and plants are chosen with care to ensure their historical accuracy within the period they reflect. Many plants are unlikely to be found at garden centres, so fascinating discoveries can be made. The gardens include a 13th century Apothecary's Garden, a Tudor Knot Garden and a Suburban Villa Garden. There is also a stimulating Children's Garden, designed to entertain and educate our future generation of organic gardeners. Entry to the gardens is free for children.
